You can see many works collected by the first director (the late Kanechi Matsushita), who loved art, including paintings by painters Kuroda Seiki and Eisaku Wada, as well as world masters Monet and Renoir, as well as Japan paintings, excavated items from ancient Egypt and Greece, and masks collected mainly in southern Kyushu.
