Kirishima Kansui Gorge
kirishima shinsuikyo
A scenic spot on the Kirishima River with columnar joints and valleys formed by lava flows that flowed when Mt. Kirishima erupted. If you head to the Kirishima River from the Kirishima City Tourist Information Center near Kirishima Shrine, there is a promenade along the river, and there is also an observation point where you can see the valley within the promenade.
