Exploring the path in the middle of Mt. Nakadake

Mt. Nakadake is a mountain located between Mt. Shinendake and Mt. Takachiho. In 2011, the eruption of Mt. Shinnen covered the entire mountain with pumice, and entry to the mountain was temporarily restricted. Currently, the Nakadake Halfway Trail is available. Every year around mid-May, you can see the Miyama Kirishima recovering from the effects of the eruption blooming with beautiful pink flowers.
