The crater lake is located at the highest altitude in Japan (1,411m). A promenade is maintained along the edge of the crater lake, so you can see the pond and the surrounding mountains from an almost 360-degree direction. The blue surface of the lake, which has a diameter of about 630 meters and a maximum depth of 11 meters, reflects the surrounding greenery and autumn leaves, allowing you to see the beauty of the four seasons.
